How the examples are verified

Before each publication, a program checks the 3 example deals and every number on the site:

  • the deal is recalculated from its game code, using the same shuffle as the app, and compared with the deal produced by the app's code;
  • 52 distinct cards, columns of 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 cards, 21 face down and 31 face up, no stock;
  • every move in the winning games is replayed and must be allowed by the app's rules; the game must end in a win;
  • the score and the counts of moves, cards turned face up and groups moved out of sequence are recalculated and compared with those in the app;
  • the rules cited (groups, empty columns, foundations, Relaxed rules, scoring) are checked against the app's code.

Strategy tips are presented as advice, separately from the rules. The standard rules of Yukon, taken from the sources, are distinguished from choices specific to the app. Found an error? Write to us through the contact page.
